Product Designer (AI Interfaces)
At Source, we design the future of human–AI interaction. We believe the next generation of software won’t just look intelligent — it will think with us, respond intuitively, and elevate how we work, create, and connect. Our mission is to shape that future through design systems that make artificial intelligence feel effortless, elegant, and human.
We build tools that power automation, learning, and reasoning — but design is what gives them form, meaning, and accessibility. Every pixel, every motion, every word in our interfaces helps bridge the gap between complex AI logic and simple human experience.
For a designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, technology, and psychology, Source offers an unparalleled opportunity. You’ll craft interfaces that shape how the world interacts with intelligence itself — defining new patterns, inventing new workflows, and giving AI a human face.
What we look for
Human-centered vision. You design with empathy, translating abstract AI systems into intuitive, emotional, and impactful experiences.
Strong systems thinking. You understand how to scale design — building reusable patterns, adaptable flows, and cohesive multi-platform systems.
Fluency in tools. You’re fluent in modern design stacks (Figma, Framer, or similar) and comfortable collaborating with engineers using real-time prototyping tools.
Curiosity for AI. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you’re deeply curious about how AI models, automation, and data systems work — and how people can use them better.
Detail and craft. You care about typography, rhythm, motion, and interaction down to the smallest nuance. Because when AI feels natural, it’s never by accident.
Collaboration. You’re as comfortable brainstorming with product managers as you are with machine learning engineers. You bring clarity to complexity — and energy to every discussion.
What we offer
Creative freedom with purpose. You’ll design products that directly impact how companies harness intelligence — from AI-powered dashboards to generative tools and automation systems.
A culture of experimentation. We encourage exploration and rapid iteration. You’ll prototype boldly, test fast, and help define design principles for an emerging field.
Growth in a frontier domain. Source sits at the intersection of design, AI, and systems engineering. You’ll be working on challenges no one’s fully solved — and learning faster than anywhere else.
Competitive compensation and equity. We reward impact — not just output. You’ll share in the success you help create, with strong pay, equity options, and performance-based bonuses.
Remote-first flexibility. Work from where you create best. Join us in person at our hubs or stay fully remote — we design around your flow, not against it.
The selection process
Our design recruitment process centers on creativity, curiosity, and clarity of thought. After an initial screening, we’ll ask for a portfolio review focused on projects that demonstrate design thinking — not just visuals. We care about how you solve problems, how you collaborate, and how you think about interaction.
If successful, you’ll move into an interview round with our product and engineering leads, where you’ll explore design challenges around AI usability and intelligent automation systems.
We’re looking for originality and depth, not perfection. Even if you don’t meet every listed skill, we value insight and growth potential above credentials.
Before you apply
Design at Source is about more than interfaces — it’s about shaping relationships between people and technology. We work fast, experiment often, and design for systems that learn and adapt in real time.
To thrive here, you’ll need curiosity, courage, and craft. We recommend spending your first few weeks absorbing how our products work — from the inside out. Once you do, you’ll have full creative autonomy to reimagine, refine, and define what AI can feel like.
If you’re ready to design the interfaces that shape how the world interacts with intelligence, we’d love to meet you. Apply now — and help us design the future of AI.
